| On Nov 16th and 17th, 2019, two info sessions of emlyon Global DBA (Asia Track) were held in Guangzhou and Shenzhen in succession, which gathered senior executives and entrepreneurs who are longing for a DBA journey in the future. Prof. Junsong CHEN, Assistant Dean of emlyon Asia & Director of emlyon Global DBA Asia Track, Prof. Wenxuan DING, Deputy Director of Business Intelligence Center (BIC) of emlyon, Prof. Luk Ting Kwong, Deputy Academic Director of Global DBA Asia Track of emlyon participated in these events. They not only shared the latest AI digital transformation trend which can lead them to create real business impact and become academic industry leaders but also shared how emlyon Global DBA Program has been continuously optimized and upgraded and what leads to its refined program design of 2020 intake. | BUPT-emlyon 2018 GEMBA Mobile Class in Yunnan |

From November 14th to 17th, 2019, all students of BUPT-emlyon GEMBA 2018 Intake Spring Cohort gathered in Kunming, Yunnan Province. In here, the students can leave their stressful work behind, and concentrate on their study. Students can also enjoy relaxing time with course mates after course, and jog along the picturesque Dian Lake in the early morning.
This study tour is organized and arranged by Director Jason Zhang, GEMBA 2018 Spring Class lecturer Ms. Lisa Liang and Mr Tao Zhenglin from GEMBA 2018 Spring intake. The course had star professor Gong Yeming from emlyon and Professor Dong Xiaoying from Guanghua School of Management of Peking University, who brought in the lectures of Artificial Intelligence Strategic Perspective of Digital Transformation. |

On the afternoon of November 20th, 2019, the "New Manufacturing— Intelligent Manufacturing Led by New-generation 5G Technology Summit Forum" was successfully held in Beijing. Jointly held by emlyon North China Alumni Association and the school's alumni enterprise Beijing High Great Smart New Energy Park, BUPT-emlyon GEMBA programme attracted a galaxy of experts and scholars in the new manufacturing industry and academia circle.

On November 16th, "2019 Mini Expo" was held in Shanghai, which brought in 51 booths and 20 performances from different nations.
Aiming at enabling international students and local residents to enjoy the charms of various countries, Mini World Expo was held at its 13th session since 2006. emlyon students worked as the delegates of France in "2019 Mini Expo" and designed French booth for the event.
emlyon students demonstrated French style costumes, national Famous sceneries, regional sports, French wine and and other elements to present the culture of France. The encounter between emlyon students and Chinese residents was unforgettable. emlyon students showed their spirit of taking initiative, sense of cooperation, passion and openness and gained an impressional cultural experience in Asian campus. |

OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan conducted the workshop on China's Belt & Road Initiative: Cross Regional Perspective, organized on November 8th, 2019. Prof. Dr. Nikola Zivlak, Deputy Director Undergraduate/Graduate Programs emlyon Asia joined this event to talk about the current situation with BRI development in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, at the same time emphasizing the role of education in creating future talents able to participate different development projects.
This was a unique opportunity for emlyon to develop some new relationships in Kyrgyzstan and the region of Central Asia and get access to some of the most recent knowledge regarding BRI. |

emlyon has proudly joined UASR (University Alliance of the Silk Road), one of the most prestigious university alliances along the Belt and Road Initiative.
This will be a great opportunity for the whole emlyon and especially for the campus in Asia to expand cooperation and to partner with all the universities and institutions who belong to this Alliance. This can especially strengthen position of emlyon in Western China and especially with Xi'an Jiaotong University, one of the most prestigious universities in China. |

| emlyon at 2019 I3DC Competition |
|
2019 I3DC competition was held in Xi'an from September 19th-21st, 2019 and team from emlyon won the second price. Competition in 3D printing with the main topic "3D Printing - Health & Green Life" was organized by National Innovation Institute of Additive Manufacturing (NIIAM) from China, University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR) and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers and HESAM Université from France.
Team from emlyon came all the way from France and it consisted of three students Rida Bourji, Quentin Ankri and Hamza El Mansouri. Team was organized and led by Samuel Javelle, Head of makers' labs at emlyon. Prof. Dr. Nikola Zivlak, Deputy Director Undergraduate/Graduate Programs emlyon Asia had supported this team, by initiating this idea and helping in the whole process of preparation and coming to China. And the team from emlyon was awarded the second price, being the only business school winning award at this prestigious competition. |

| GBBA S7 – Doing Business in Asia Major |

Based on the new global organization of GBBA program, emlyon Asia was able to organize our new major "Doing Business in Asia" for Year 4 GBBA students. This major was organized for the very first time during this Fall 2019 semester.
19 students from Paris, Saint-Etienne and Casablanca came to Shanghai in September 2019 to stay here for the whole semester and to focus their studies in analyzing China and other Asian counties. Integral part of this course was Industry Road Show organized in Ningbo on October 24th and 25th, 2019. All 19 students led by Prof. Dr. Nikola Zivlak, Deputy Director Undergraduate/Graduate Programs emlyon Asia have visited "New" 1st Tier City based in Zhejiang province in order to understand local economy and development of this important hub for business and international trade, at the same time very interesting city in Chinese history. |

On October 28th 2019, 128 students came to shanghai to participate in study trip to Asia Campus, including 115 students from Ecully and 13 students from Casablanca.
During the one-week learning trip, students from MSc in Finance were provided with opportunities to discover, witness and acquire a preliminary understanding of China's enormous and extremely diverse culture via insightful cultural and business courses and conferences, including 3 courses, 5 industrial sharing and 4 company visits to Hema Fresh, Faurecia, Valeo, and Keolis.

| emlyon Asia Branding Management Standar Operating Procedure (SOP) Training Session |
|
A training and sharing session with the theme of "Marketing related SOP Training Session" has been hold by emlyon Asia Resource (Marcom) Department on November 7, 2019. Joanna PAN, Chief Operating Officer of emlyon Asia, hosted this session, and eleven marketers from emlyon Asia were invited.
Event Management SOP, Content Exposure Management SOP, Banner format evolution and Case study were included in this session. All attendees studied detailed rules and regulations of the Management SOP. By sharing and discussing the success and shortcomings of event cases, as well as current results of visual exposure in brand publicity, attendees could have better understanding and knowledge of the importance of event management and methods to increase brand exposure. This session has promoted the campus' brand influence and event planning ability, and has further clarified goals and direction for following work.
