The talk is expected to contribute to the transformation and advancement of football in China by promoting dialog and exchange among domestic and foreign stakeholders in the industry and by learning from international experiences and ideas. The book "Routledge Handbook of Football Business and Management", co-authored by Professor Chadwick and several industry experts, launched at the talk. The book is essential reading for all students, researchers and practitioners working in football, sport business, sport management or mainstream business and management. |

The 8-day French Module Course for GEMBA 2018 Intake Spring Cohort students of emlyon business school Asia was successfully launched from June 3 to 10, 2019.
In France, students took multiple courses in emlyon business school Paris and Lyon campuses, including Geo-politics, The application of artificial intelligence in the field of management, Intercultural |

Management, The state of the economy of China and the world, History of Western Art. Besides, students also paid visits to four-generation family enterprise BioMerieux, and Chocolate Museum Factory of an alumni, luxury brand Van Cleef & Arpels, TUBA(Lyon Urban Data), Innovative company SEB and MUSEE PARFUM.
The course not only enriches students' knowledge, but also provides them a chance to have a deep insight into unique and time-honored French arts. Students visited scenic spots and historic sites, as well as museum and Eiffel Tower and really enjoyed French cuisine and performances. All the students benefit enormously from the 8-day course in France. |

Opening Ceremony and the 1st Module of DTTT (Digitalized Teaching The Teacher) Program 2019 Intake were Successfully Held in Shanghai |

On June 27, 2019, the graduation ceremony of DTTT (Digitalized Teaching The Teacher) program 2018 intake and the opening ceremony of DTTT 2019 were solemnly held. Professor Junsong Chen, Assistant Dean of emlyon business school Asia, and Professor Sherriff LUK attended the ceremony. Participants from the DTTT 2018 intake gave group reports at the ceremony, and professors gave comments aimed at group reports accordingly. Professor William Hua WANG, Associate Dean of emlyon business school and Dean of emlyon business school Asia delivered keynote speech before the welcome dinner.
From 28 June to 30 June, the first module of DTTT 2019 intake was successfully held in Shanghai. Professor Sherriff LUK, Professor Junsong Chen and Ms. Marilyn (founder and president of Erickson) from Canada conducted three courses respectively. All three courses were favored by participants. |

On June 9th, 2019, emlyon Global DBA Coffee Chat was held in Shanghai, gathering the senior executives and entrepreneurs passionate in embarking on the DBA journey in the near future. The program invited 2017 alumni, Mr. James NG to share his DBA experience, such as his research topic, and how he established management concepts and methodologies during the study in DBA program. Through this event, participants developed a better understanding of emlyon Global DBA program, gaining the picture how to transform their industry insights and management experience into a structured knowledge system that could benefit the industry and the society by exploring practices and cutting-edge teachings in the program. |

A Rosy, Elegant, Extraordinary Encounter with a Wine Tasting Party |

At the beginning of the summer of 2019, BUPT-emlyon GEMBA 2019 Spring Cohort students joined together in Jin Mao Hui, Beijing for the exquisite wine tasting party and witnessed marvelous experience with the group.
Dressed up for this event, students presented flowers to express their gratitude to professors of the joint GEMBA program. With the cello playing, they enjoyed a wide range of red wines from Bordeaux, white wines from New Zealand and sweet wines from Canada, greatly sparking the love for wine culture.
We have prepared the special awards for the class, and professors awarded prizes and took photos with the prize-winners. More than 50 students celebrated birthdays with the colleagues born in June and shared the beautiful memories spent together. |

The 1st emlyon business school Dragon Boat Challenge Held in Beijing |

Drummed up by emlyon forever North China, the first ever emlyon business school Dragon Boat Challenge was unveiled in excitement on The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal on June 26th, 2019, with all alumni itching for competition. The attendance of GEMBA Programme Director Weiwei Zhang and Marketing and Communication Senior Manager Ms. Yuping Li, representing emlyon business school, is a statement to the school's support for this exciting alumni event.
After a month's preparation, each class from emlyon business school's GEMBA program and emlyon - Vning EDP Program has played ace up their sleeves to form 6 teams, rowing for the laurel.
On the event day, a child drawing charity activity also attracted the audience's eyes. This special group of little guests painted dragon boat with imaginative colors. Their captivating paintings will become permanent collections of emlyon business school North China Alumni Association. |

CSR Seminar | Face to Face with the Change of the World |

On May 27, 2019, the "Face to Face with Michael Norton" event, with the academic support provided by emlyon business school, was held at the Sany Foundation, Beijing. With the theme of "Face to Face with the Change of the World", Professor Michael Norton, the father of social innovation in Great Britain, was invited as the special speaker to discuss how to embrace the change of the world through social innovation.
Professor Michael Norton introduced his 40-year experience in founding NGOs and social enterprises, promoting his insight of "Good Business is good for Business" in his speech on how business can change the world. In 2016, emlyon business school Asia joined hand with National Business Daily in China to launch "Good Business" project and establish the Good Business Centre. emlyon Asia attaches great importance to the research, education and communication of corporate social responsibility, hoping that Chinese enterprises will continue to implement responsible operation and contribute to developing the sustainable society.
