| The third module of Wellness EDP program 2019 intake was successful held in Hongkong from July 12 to 14. More than 30 participants attended this 3 days' modules, including 2 days for learning courses and 1 day for visiting Union Medical Healthcare, rehabilitation clinic of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Chow Tai Fook(CTF) (headquarters + representative stores). In the course, Professor Sherriff Luk, one of the makers of the "m-zone" strategy of China Mobile, helped students to re-understand the service and innovation with systematic theories, rich cases, methods and tools. Dr. Yuanwei Huang, from management and marketing department of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, also made a case sharing in the course. Participants expressed that they learned a lot of practical and cutting-edge knowledge through this course. |

| 2019 emlyon business school Kick-off Party for Undergraduate, Graduate and MBA programs |

On July 20th, emlyon business school successfully held its first Kick-off party for undergraduate, graduate and MBA programs in Shanghai. More than 30 students and their families from different cities across the country have attended the event. The alumni shared their learning and life experience at emlyon business school. A Q&A session was also set up to answer the questions of the new students and their parents, which fully prepared the freshmen who soon begin their new life in France in September.
Nikola ZIVLAK, Deputy Director of Undergraduate/ Graduate programs, Joniko Cao, Head of Recruitment in emlyon Asia, and in emlyon Asia have attended this event. They gave a warm welcome to the freshmen joining the emlyon business school, and wish them every success in future studies. | Early Maker's Expedition in Asia |

458 international students have successfully completed the Asian Campus Summer Semester with the spirit of early maker in July, including students from MSc in Luxury Management & Marketing, MSc in Sports Industry Management, MSc in International Hospitality Management and MSc in Data Marketing and Data Science, MSc in Management- Grande Ecole and specialized master.
During the 3 months of fall semester, students not only dived into managerial experiences through various courses but also enjoyed an enriched campus life and gained a memorable time through different activities, including opening events, In-company Consulting Project(ICP), company visits, dragon boat tournament，Fun Sports games, art exhibitions etc. Experience in Asian campus enable students to gain insights into culture and industry in Asian context, which will benefit them in the long term when stepping into a globalized career world.

| The 2019 Summer In-company Consulting Project (ICP) within the Asian Campus Semester has successfully completed. From end June to end July, fifty seven projects offered by Chinese and international companies were delivered by multi-cultural groups of students from five master programs of emlyon business school in the form of presentation and report. The ICP final presentations and reports represent the final stage of the ICP and the culmination of the work carried out by students during the whole semester. The ICP provides an opportunity for students to experience and understand essential aspects of the Chinese / Asian business environment, to work on the very real projects and to come up with real proposals and practical recommendations at the end of the period. The projects also give companies an opportunity to identify talents and facilitate recruitment exercises around the world. |

| On July 3rd, 2019, 25 students from emlyon business school walked into Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Economic Park and visited the largest tourism group in China, Ctrip. During the visit, students were deeply amazed and inspired by the corporate culture and powerful digital technic of Ctrip. The visit is organized by Professor Nikola ZIVLAK, deputy director undergraduate/graduate programs of emlyon, aiming to enhance students' understanding of global development of Chinese service industries nowadays and to foster future business elites and leaders with a global perspective and entrepreneurial spirit. Students commented the corporate visits help them better apply theoretical knowledge to practical experience, and gain important inspiration from corporate strategy, technology research, and market development. |
