凝聚强大合力,保护世界文化遗产 | 第二场中欧美博物馆合作倡议对话回顾

Initiated by Mr. David Gosset, Senior Consultant of emlyon business school Asia, Founder of the China-Europe-America Global Initiative, the dialogue of the China-Europe-America Museums Cooperation Initiative took place online, bringing together 31 personalities from the world of museums, arts and culture.

法国里昂商学院亚洲高级顾问、中欧美全球倡议发起人高大伟David Gosset先生发起的“中欧美博物馆合作倡议”第二场对话成功在线上举办,31位来自世界各地博物馆、艺术界及文化界人士齐聚一堂。

After the success of the first dialogue, the theme of which was the impact of technological developments on museums, the second dialogue discussed their role in the preservation of cultural heritage and the fight against traffickings in the field of art.

2021年圆满落幕的第一场对话以科技发展对博物馆的影响为主题,而第二场对话则重点探讨博物馆在保护文化遗产与打击艺术品走私领域发挥的作用。

开幕式


David Gosset, Senior Consultant of emlyon business school Asia, founder of the China-Europe-America Global Initiative, underlined the importance of the event which brought together important Chinese, European and American museums, and high personalities from 10 different countries. In a reference to Victor Hugo (1802-1885), he asserted that one should not oppose the protection of local cultures and the preservation of world heritage because these two efforts complement each other.

法国里昂商学院亚洲高级顾问、中欧美全球倡议发起人高大伟强调,本次活动汇集了中国、欧洲和美国博物馆以及来自十个国家的高级别人士,具有重要意义。他在发言中谈到了维克多·雨果(1802-1885),表示我们不应将地方的文化遗产保护与世界的文化遗产保护置于对立面,因为我们为这两者付出的努力是相辅相成的。

The former head of the Palace Museum, Shan Jixiang, Richard Kurin, representative of the Smithsonian, Victoria Reed of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Vernon Rapley of the Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as the director of the National Museum of Cambodia Chhay Visoth converged to call for greater international cooperation in the cultural field.

前故宫博物院院长单霁翔、史密森尼学会杰出学者兼特使理查德·库林、波士顿美术博物馆的维多利亚·里德、维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆的弗农·拉普利以及柬埔寨国家博物馆馆长蔡·维索一致呼吁全球各国应加强文化领域的国际合作。

This message was reinforced by Gao Anming, Chief Editor and Vice President of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, and Irina Bokova, former Director General of UNESCO, who was participating for the second time in the China-Europe-America Museums Cooperation Initiative.

中国外文出版发行事业局副局长兼总编辑高岸明和联合国教科文组织总干事(2009–2017)伊琳娜·博科娃也特别强调了这一观点。这也是博科娃第二次参与中欧美博物馆合作倡议的活动了。

The first session focused on the problem of provenance and authentication of works of art. Chaired by the former cultural adviser to three Presidents of the Italian Republic, Louis Godart, it was an opportunity for General Roberto Riccardi, Colette Loll, founder of Art Fraud Insights, Marie-Cécile Zinsou, president of the Zinsou foundation and Mariarosaria Barbera who was the director of the Ostia Antica archaeological site, to present their activities and analyses. Louis Godart insisted on the idea that Beauty should bring us together.

The second session explored the need for public awareness on issues related to illicit trafficking in the field of art. Chaired by the co-founder of East Langkun, Alex Fan, it notably brought together Maxwell L. Anderson, former president of the American Association of Directors of Fine Arts Museums, and Marco Biscione, who was in charge of the Museum of Oriental Art in Turin.

分论坛二探讨了如何提高公众对艺术领域非法交易问题的认识。该论坛由东方朗昆国际文化有限公司联合创始人丛山主持,嘉宾包括前艺术博物馆馆长协会主席马克斯韦·安德森、前都灵东方艺术博物馆馆长马克·毕肖奈等。

闭幕式


This second forum is the result of cooperation between the China-Europe-America Global Initiative, the think-tank Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS) based in Beijing, and Antiquities Coalition, which works from Washington DC in the service of fight against illicit exchanges in the field of archeology and the arts. The founder of Antiquities Coalition, Deborah Lehr, and its director Tess Davis spoke on behalf of this American organization.

第二场对话由中欧美全球倡议、位于北京的智库当代中国与世界研究院以及文物保护联盟委员会共同主办。文物保护联盟委员会位于美国华盛顿,致力于打击考古与艺术领域的非法交易,该机构创始人戴青丽以及执行董事泰丝·戴维斯作为代表参会发言。

The event benefited from the support of private actors – the Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo, Yi Tsai and East Langkun. The chairman of the largest Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo, Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, was also able to present what his organization is doing to support culture and the arts. On behalf of East Langkun, Vivian Jia shared her analysis of the art market.

In conclusion, David Gosset expressed the wish that after two consecutive years of online meetings, the third dialogue in 2023 could take place in a traditional manner. His message was reinforced by Joan McEntee, former Under Secretary of the United States Department of Commerce and Giamberto Giraldo, President of Yi Tsai who welcomed an international event to stimulate cooperation around a major topic.

最后,高大伟表示,在连续举办了两年线上论坛后,希望2023年第三场对话能够以传统的线下形式举行。他的想法得到了美国前商务部副部长琼·麦肯蒂与青岛意才基金销售有限公司总经理蒋百德的认同,蒋百德对有利于促进重要领域全球合作的国际活动表示欢迎与支持。
